Spundun 21:50, 22 March 2007 (UTC) Reply if tintin comics were badly translated into hindi, one could mention that they were poorly translated, with reason. It is clear that its the author of the wikipedia article him/herself that is criticizing the comic of low-quality drawings, weak or implausible story lines and incorrect english. Its not citing a respectable source website that has criticized the comic for bad drawings or translations. Second and more important problem is that they are not citing their references. It'd be like someone Writing on Tintin's page that "people criticize this comics for bad hindi translations." First is that Chacha chaudhary is pirmarily hindi language comics. There are two issues with this statement. "Despite the popularity of the series, Chacha Chaudhary comics are criticized by some for having low-quality illustrations, weak or implausible story lines, and incorrect English in translations." Sometimes his head or nose itches when any trouble is going to happen.I have removed the rest of the criticism which is as follows However, in certain stories, Chachi(his wife) has been seen locking the house. Everybody in town knows that whenever Chacha Chaudhary goes out with his family, he never locks the door of his house but nobody has been successful in robbing his house. When he takes off his turban, it is shown that he is completely bald. Chacha Chaudhary enjoys eating watermelon with relish but mangoes are his weakness and takes off for a walk with Sabu and Rocket, whenever Chachi nags him. His household consists of his wife Bini (Chachi), a faithful street dog called Rocket and a giant alien from Jupiter named Sabu. Chacha Chaudhary's attire includes his red turban, a wooden stick, a waistcoat with a double inside pocket and a pocket watch. The word chacha means paternal uncle in Hindi, while Chaudhary is a term used for big landlords or the most honorable, elderly or a respectable person in villages or towns in Indo-Gangetic Plain. Chacha Chaudhary is a middle class Indian, frail but an extremely intelligent old man. ![]()
